all this power yet no games to use it

your not very constructive are you,but you are rude.

Is there a point to your post, or are you just practising your humour skills?

The OP has a very valid point :)

Ok so maybe I came across a bit harsh. Just think it wouldn't of hurt to re-read the the thing before posting.

But yeah, didn't mean to be condescending and I apologise for it.

You can never have too much power.:)

truth
games in time will come out that make todays high end Pc kit, look like kit from the middle ages. there's also the competition between the game producers to produce games that strech modern hardware, and the hardware producers to get better performing hardware out so that producers can make programes that fully use the power.

im keeping my 8800gt i got last week.from ocuk.(should have waited for4850 .to late now.any game thats out now can be played on the 8800gt at max, appart from crysis.what other game is coming out that will need the extra power.
Crysis Warhead :p

just try running stuff in dx10 w/aa, that will kill the card :P

Too right. You can never have enough 'Power' where GPU's are concerned. I have a terrible feeling that 'Far Cry 2' is going to be really demanding as no one could max 'Far Cry' when it initially came out.

Remember it's a cross platform release so it probably won't be that demanding (unless it's badly optimized, but that's usually reserved for ports)

I take it that the game is being ported 'from' the PC to PS3 and XBOX 360? It better not be the other way round.
