since i got mine gtx 980 am getting some very strange like shuttering/lag sort of thing while am trying to play bf4. at 1st for 10- 15 mins its ok and then all the sudden its like you got no control over the the direction you moving when you are pressing w,a,or d,s on the keyboard and on the old times i get direct x funtion errors. its been like this since i installed the gtx 980 .my old card 780ti had no problems with. i did a total clen install of drivers,unistalled my mouse (roccat kane) and installed an new mouse g502 but the problem still there.is there an problem with the 980 card ?

I notice you said g502 - do you have the logitech gaming framework installed? I was getting the same thing wasd seeming to stick running in the same direction randomly in bf4. Seemed like it started after updating the logitech software.
I nuked the logitech software and the problem went away. I have now performed a clean reinstall of the logitech software and it seems ok so far.
I did not see any nvidia driver crashes though.

i changed mouse from an roccat kane with my other mouse g502 the problem and still the problem was there. i did another nvidia driver unistall and did a fresh re-install .i had a play on bf4 for 3/4 hr and so far it has not happen. so i will give another go later and see what crops
