This gave me a proper laugh. He made a substantial amount of his money from various pornographic magazines such as Asian Babes and Readers Wives, as well as premium telephone lines, and the pornographic The Fantasy Channel, one of the first porn channels on UK TV.

But he doesn't like being called a pornographer and, now, after repeated attempts to have proxy accounts edit his Wikipedia profile to remove the description of him as a pornographer, he's now attempting to sue them to get it changed.

Desmond has repeatedly edited the article to replace the description of him as a “pornographer” with the term “philanthropist”

My inner adult read philanthropist as phapsalot

Yes its childish, but I had to laugh at his current age: 69

:D

I thought 69?, 69?, surely he’s older than that, I doubt he’s still alive.
Then I realised that probably due to my own advanced age, I must be thinking of another pornographer.
After a bit of detective Googling, I realised that I was thinking of Paul Raymond, who ran the Raymond Revuebar strip club in Walker’s Court, which was between Berwick St. and Brewer St. in Soho, he was known as The King of Soho.
Any young guy in the sixties and seventies who frequented the Whiskey a Go Go in Wardour St., then crossed Shaftesbury Avenue to make their way up to one-of the dives near St. Anne’s Court went past Raymond’s.
It turns out that he died aged 82 in 2008.

None of those magazines/TV channels are pornography though are they?
Would you say the same if you found some of his magazines such as "Readers Wives" or "Barely Legal" under your fourteen year old sons mattress?
