Allied Assault for MAC

Not sure which section to post this in, mac or PC games?

If I bought Allied Assault Spearhead for the mac would it have fully functioning multiplayer and patches? I remember on the PC version it required patch updates to allow multiplayer to commence?

I'm assuming there won't be any patches for the mac version?

I've adored this game forever but can't play it anymore because I don't have a PC.

I still regularly play it on the TRL freezetag server. Unfortunately, I play on a Windows pc. It does however require a single patch to play the MP to update it to 1.11 or something.

Thought about using something like Parallels for Mac, or Mac's own Boot Camp?

I have Parallels but I don't think it allows dual booting? Bootcamp isn't available for Tiger anymore, unfortunately.

I saw a couple of patches for MOHAA on the Apple site but I'm not sure if it upgrades the MP.
