Alloy CPU frame

Who uses the aluminum CNC frame around their AMD/Intel CPU?

Also compatibility with coolers, ie with my Noctua you have to place some plastic tube spacers so unsure they would fit into frame holes.

ive have them for 1200 and am5... am5 not needed.
lga12300 i dropped a good a amount of heat for the small cost with the same cooler

To the most they dont aluta the socket so no problems

what cpu/socket do you have

I have both the Thermal Grizzly LGA 1700 and AM5 contact frames.

I got one for my old 12700k and a noctua d15, it made no noticeable difference even though it was supposed to be a big thing back then.

I guess it depends on the coolers contact shape.
