I'm thinking about getitng some new alloy wheels. These are not aftermarket they are Ford.

Now, would you declare them?

Say I did have an accident would the insurance company just cover everything bar the alloys even if they did find out they were not standard as such.

Kind of like this

Anyone else do anything better?

But they're still Ford alloys. For all they know they could have come with the car as an optional extra.

I don't remember having to tell your insurance company about optinal extras on the car. I presumed they were OK with them aslong as they were just optional extras and not aftermarket tat.

ST170's are rare as rocking horse ****, same for MP3 alloys.

I thought it would make it seem a little lower since the profile is 195/45 vs 205/50

Would it adversly affect my Speedo readout and Mileage counter?

Right, so if Prudential don't allow any mods to under 25's how is Bob and his BMW exactly going to declare his seats  what a **** take. I guess Prudential can't be as fussy if this is the case?
