Looking at this car, found one for under £3000 with 50k on the clock. Anyone got opinions on this car?

There was no 1.8 litre N15, so it must be N16, question is phase 1 or phase 2.

X reg will be early N16 phase 1, they are very underspecced compared to phase2, you still get air con, but trim is generally horrible - kind of city bus grey with random pink and yellow stripes, stereo is Toys'R'Us affair. Neccessities like climate control, computer, ESP, etc were non existant in that era. It's still very good car for ~3 grand, robust, reliable, if a little unsporty for its badge, but soon enough you will discover that for just a grand more you could have so much in phase2 N16 even in Flare or SE trims.
