Almost a new PC

I'm replacing CPU/Mobo/RAM and will be using a different disk. Which approach should I use to install Windows. Do I need t install my Win 7 and then upgrade to 10 and then do a clean install or can I do a clean install from scratch.

The PC currently tuns 10 Pro due to a mistake I made during the preview process. I should only have Home.

You can do a clean install from scrap as long as you have your Win 7 key available.

You should only buy a new license if your Windows 7 key is OEM. If it is Retail then it is fine to use it on the new kit.

It will probably work anyway, just not strictly legal.

As far as actually installing it though, just use your Windows 7 key with the Windows 10 install media, as Casdawer mentions above.
