Hi guys,

I have now finished copying across all my DVDs onto my PC but would like to know a recommended prog/tool to for getting them to a viewable file.

I have the Audio_ts/Video_ts files.

they are going to be viewed on my LG50PG6000 so hoping theres a chance they can 1920x1080?

Hope i'm going in the right direction with this. any help would be great.

you can view those files with standard codecs/players

ffdshow and media player classic will play it, you can either go to open dvd from the file menu.

or double click the video_ts.ifo file (i think it is called, if i remember)

put each video_ts folder in a movie folder e.g. star wars/video_ts then use something like mediaportal or wmc as a front end (or just use wmp or wmp classic as describe above).

Use ffdshow as the codec and set upscale options within the settings

Obviously this will maintin the original DVD quality, but worth considering the extra storage space that this is going to take.
