Picked this up a couple days ago for £5! This game is brilliant, loving the cinematic quality of it & the Lost style "Previously on Alone in the Dark.." when you continue a game. I read in reviews that the controls are quite difficult for some, but have to say with a 360 pad & a bit of patience it works quite well, swinging bats around at people is awesome! I'm only on chapter 3 just got into central park, which looks like quite a big map to explore so think I'm gonna rove around it now for a bit.
What are other peoples thoughts to this game? Can anyone beat it for a fiver?!

Got this game on pre-order. Never managed to get the game to even run, just kept crashing to desktop after the intro credits. Atari never sent me a fix, luckily I got a refund from the well known purple store high street chain.
I vowed never to buy another Atari product ever again, their customer service is abysmal, I can only assume that they did not have a fix, hence why they never got back to me. This whole experience somewhat put me off PC gaming as you can imagine. was looking forward to the title at the time though the reviews were shocking.

Must admit only played part of the 360 demo so perhaps I didn't give it a fair try. I found it to be quite good graphically but all in all it seemed more of a simulation than a game to me.

I brought it from the auction site last year, it went straight back on it after a few days...

I thought it was awful :p So many bugs and the controls were quite messed up!

Its not a bad game. Some of its very cinematic. But fiddly controls (even with an X360 gamepad) ruin most of it and the bugs do not help either. The PS3 version fixed most of this and even altered the inventory system making it easier to get items in a hurry (most of the park section requires very quick reflexes as you have to mix certain items together to create weapons. Otherwise you will die a lot!!). Once you get to Central Park you will either love it or hate it as there are many frustrating sections. Shame Atari have no interest in creating a PC patch as the game sold poorly to make it just like the fixed PS3 version.

i was one of those people whould couldnt get to grips with the controls, trying to to precision movements of a pip with a mouse was SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooo hard i found, apart from that it was ok but i gave up :p
