Alone in the Dark sound problem

Sometimes the sound in Alone in the Dark skips, its especially annoying when people are talking and your trying to listen to what they are saying If I restart then it can sometimes be ok, or if I restart the game. But it's annoying having to do that several times before you can even start playing >.<

I'm using Realtek HD audio on board sound that was on my Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L. All other games are fine.

Any ideas

exactly the same problem here.

This game would be right up my street if it werent for the bugs - its crashed three times on me now.

if anyone has a fix for the above problem id like to hear it too.
