I notice that this game is already "out" for the 360, anyone got any idea when it hits retail for PC? (as in solid release schedule) I'm hoping it comes out like...this week as I really am bored of not having any decent scary games to play as of late :/

Glad I got the wireless 360pad for GRID as it looks liek this game will favour it muchly!

I have been reading up on player feedback of the console versions and the general consensus is that the game is poor. I would advise you to check some reviews before buying. I am disappointed as I love survival horror and there is nothing else coming out other than Alan Wake which I am starting to have my doubts about.

Oh, I almost forgot that there is a Resident Evil coming out soon so all is not lost.

You played silent hill 2/3. Just completed silent hill 2 graphics still hold up today, and the actual game is phenominal, a phycological depressing story with some of the scariest gaming moments of all time.

Res Evil 5 is coming 2009 though isn't it, it has been confirmed for PC which is nice!

I will give my feedback to Alone in the dark tonight, 24" screen, big speakers, comfy chair and wireless pad = good setting :)

It makes perfect sense, XBOX360 games are very easy to convert from PC to 360 and vice versa because of the unified creation process they share thanks to the new standards which is why the latest round of multiplatform games that appear on PC and 360 run the same or run better on PC but mostly look better on PC due to better visuals and resolution (Devil may Cry 4, Mass Effect, GRID etc)

There's absolutely no reason why Res Evil 5 cannot be released on PC given the easyness of the conversion process since it starts out on the PC as a PC game.
They've obviously been marketed and funded for console release first then they will grab the PC gamer's money afterwards. Saints Row 2 is coming to PC too which I very much look forward to and Rockstar will have to release GTA4 on PC because of this since SR2 is a key competitor to taking away some of GTA4 sales.
