I have just got one of the Ultima Extreme Envy PCs (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-371-OE&groupid=43&catid=2474) and my Mount Doom cooler has about a 1cm gap between the 140mm fan and the metal bit (not sure what this is called).

In all pics I have seen it is right next to it, I haven't seen any where there is a gap between them.

So it's like fan-metal-gap-fan-metal rather than fan-metal-fan-metal.

Will this be ok?

If you look down on it from above one side is wonky and is more angled than the other side so the 2 towers are not parallel with one another.

The picture maybe doesn't show it but it is about 1 cm gap when looking straight on.

Right, that's not good... How are your temps?

If it's a problem, get in touch with OcUK via the customer service section on the forum and they should be able to sort you a replacement.

I guess the packaging they use on pre-builds isn't perfect, but what is eh?
Shipping these big coolers while installed is pretty risky.

My first K2 arrived like this
Just one of those things...

The op's cooler has got bent outwards during transit. When mounting the middle fan it should be a nice snug fit. Unfortunate but theese things can happen.

Yep, it's unfortunate, yet understandable despite the precautions they take when packing these builds.

In my case, I'm pretty sure I accidentally received a used/returned item as the replacement had the center fan boxed up and placed between the towers to prevent damage.

Mine also came with the middle fan boxed and set in the middle slot. Prolimatech used a nice hard polystyrene block between the towers of my supermega when i bought it. Done a great job of keeping it secure.
