I've got an image of a window frame that I want to use as a texture. To make the window part of it see-through I need it to have an alpha value of 0, and make the window frame have an alpha value of 1. I've had a go at it in photoshop but I've hardly ever used photoshop so I don't really know if what I'm doing is right. Here is my original image along with my 2 attempts at setting the alpha channel:
Are either of these two correct or is not possible to tell from that screenshot?
