So Alphacool have released a GPU AIO which has QDC fittings, can buy the plates separately for compatibility with different graphics cards.

It's probably not the best looking thing in the world :p but from what little info i have read about it, it seems to be better than the Arctic Accelero coolers to fit to your GPU and is even a bit cooler & quieter.

Seems pretty decent IMO as long as they keep up support with the brackets for future cards. Comes with a back plate as well, seems really easy to fit looking at it. No hassle of leak testing either like with a custom loop every time you replace your GPU.

The fan can be run at 800rpm as well so it should be practically silent and still cool well unlike most AIO's to the CPU. We all know GPU's benefit from water the most anyway. Maybe I'll think about getting one of these when i upgrade from my 980Ti. At least with this you could just buy the cheapest particular GPU model to replace the stock cooler. Would probably be best with a 240 rad though.

That looks excellent, after me installing the corsair HG10 on my GPU it is something I want to keep doing for future GPUs.
Yeah, it seems there are only a couple of reviews floating around about it so far though. But it looks like the pump speed can be adjusted quite low as well so it shouldn't be noisy.

Same cooler as BeQuiet silent loop , not the same model as found on Fractal Design series.

Runs at 12 or 7w but can set a custom RPM.

This would work well with the new strix cards due to them having PWM connectors. Plug the pump and fans in using a splitter and card will take care of its self !

Surely they have the QDC's plugged in wrong in that picture? Souldn't it be red/red and blue/blue? I wonder if they are going to expand the program they have for the gpu block where if they don't have a block to fit your card you can send your card in and they make a block for it which you get free and then they add the block for general sale. You need to be the first to do it though.

This is how I've had a few blocks.

Send off your card and its 3D scanned in German then produced in China.

1070/80 models will have GPX and Eiswolf versions made. Get a new card, just get the heatsink when its made :)
waterblocks and pump blocks are moved over :D

but arent cross-compatible

and it goes blue-red and red-blue . blue is entry and red is exit flow if i can remember correctly

Shame it looks like a piling of steaming youknowhat!

Tbh that doesn't really bother me when it seems to be a good performer, and no hassle. The pump is apparently using suction which other AIO's don't use as well, making it quieter.

They are also working on a 2nd generation of it so i assume that's to work on the aesthetics.

I think the card with plate itself looks fine and the logo lights up on the block, fussy people are probably just put off by the bulky looking quick disconnects and tubing :p

it needs to be pretty popular or they will stop making the blocks tho right?
hm

That is the only problem, but i don't see why they would stop supporting it since the plates/brackets/blocks (whatever you want to call them) look like they aren't difficult to make for each new card.

10 days to 3D scan and CAD , 2-3 months to make in China and ship to Germany .

They make batches smaller and smaller as time goes on, a less for say the 60s of Nvidia then 70/80 model etc.

Shame they won't make a Eiswolf with the 480 :(
