Alphacool Full Graphic LCD Display

It'll display anything you tell it to. It's a serial port device (or serial via USB) and you just write the data to the USB port like a printer.

There is specific software available for these things eg. LCDC and that will allow you show quite a variety of stuff with the right plug-ins.

Also have a look at Matrix Orbital displays as they are the market leader in this field.

Thanks...but does that mean I need to know how to access the temps/voltages etc direct from the motherboard...or presumably the software is aware of various mobo monitoring solutions in the way that something like SpeedFan is? Would my motherboard need to be supported by the display's software?

Thanks for any more pointers...

The alpha cools come with software that reads info from programmes like fraps and speedfan but only if those programmes are running, the software also hasnt been update in a fair while so newer versions of the programmes listed in the support software dont work that well.

I just use mine as a clock.

OK, thanks for the info.

I'll take a look at the Matrix products and see if they are any more current with software support.
