Hello chaps

Late last year my CPU block cracked around the threads causing a near disaster and mucho hairdrying on the mb, it was an Alphacool XP Nexxus highflow bold according to the box.

I've just got myself a XSPC Delta to replace it and it looks nice and chunky.

The question is, should I replace the Alphacool NB waterblock? it looks very similar to the old CPU block and I don't fancy another leak. It's a NBX-12 if that helps.

Thanks in advance. :)

A Swiftech MCW-30 would probably be a decent upgrade to be honest, and it would put your mind at rest (it won't leak).

It does actualy look like the only solidly built NB block out there other than the XSPC one. My only concern there being the support for compression type fittings. I shall have a nose at the technical info. The barbs are compatible with 8/10mm tubing (I am SFF)?

MIPS blocks are all copper or a mix of copper and Acetal if you prefer the black finish. They are excellent, but they are a bit harder to find in the UK and they are quite pricey (£25 for a Northbridge block).
