Seriously, I upgraded my PC in Februray. I started playing last years games Borderland 2, AC3, Far Cry 3 and few others and it was fun. Then took a break and thought I will get back to online gaming on PC as I was playing mostly on my PS3 and 360. So I b bought BF4 and Ghosts recently, but my pc is already struggling with these games. BF4 runs fine with not problems obviously can't max settings but fair enough with the large maps ectt. But Ghosts runs really bad with a lot of graphical lag.

Anything I can do to improve performance or is it time for a new graphics card already?!?!

Ghosts runs bad no matter what gpu you have; but as far as having a card which is high end for longer, you just need to buy a better card in the first place unfortunately! That's one of the down sides on PC gaming

Ghosts is a POS on the PC so don't worry about that. If anything you'll have to compromise a bit with the visual settings and overclock your 6600 a bit. When I had my 580 1.5GB I turned down shadows and AA to medium low, everything else was high/ultra if I remember right and it ran at 60+FPS on my PC.

You have a "last season" mid-range gfx card, what you have wrote is to be expected. I only have a card that is slightly better (660ti) and I cannot max bf4 even with my cpu at 4ghz.

Ghosts is the only game out of many that i've played on my SLI setup that runs like a pile of **** made in 5mins during a lunchbreak.

Your card is still fine, remember some options can seriously kill fps like anything involving shadows or high amounts of anti-aliasing so lowering them usually helps a lot.

play at realistic settings and youll be fine. as mentioned you have a mid range card with a new game. it does run like crap on even top end cards.

660GTX

That is your problem right there. Your spec seems fine apart from that. Consider upgrading to a better graphics card. Something of at least a Nvidia GTX 770 or AMD HD 7870.

Alternatively, as others have said, just turn down the AA (or off totally) and don't use features like DoF (Depth of Field) etc. You have a card that's two generations old and was only low to mid end when you bought it.

No problems with Ghost here with Sli 670, once the download frenzy stopped, my mouse was the only thing that suffered with lag, just lowered the dpi all good.

Have they fixed the flickery objects when you run SLI then? Nerdcubed released a video a few days ago and still had that bug.

Also, as everyone has said, ghosts runs like a pile of poo. Totalbiscuit had problems running it at acceptable framerates when he released his video and he has SLI titans. I believe you still have to use a cheat engine to unlock the FPS and field of view as well
