Hello Guys.

For the past few months, I've been constantly looking at my right screen to play a game which isn't eyefinity supported. And I guess my neck has taken its toll. I've tried googling, switching around but I can't seem to do it.

How can I play my game in the centre screen? I just thought of switching the cabling around. I haven't done that but surely there's an option within eyefinity to allow my to play my game by default in the middle screen?

apologies if its terribly obvious but I just can't do it.

any help would be appreciated.

I use a different profile.
I have one setup for when I play none eyefinity games. This just turns off the left and right screen.
Then one for switching back to multiscreen.
Works for me great that way:)

I'm confused.?
I've got my eyefinity set up 5760x1080.
In any game that's not eyefinity supported, it'll do 3 lots of 1920x1080, I.E, the image is mirrored.

I then turn off the none middle screens.

Hmm
Strange. The only game that mirros for me is starcraft 2 Beta. And thats only if i've forced a 16AA via catalyst.

Anybody has any ideas on how i can resolve this? my neck is about to break

Yup this happens to me. All games that are not in eyefinity resolutions are mirrored. The only way to prevent that i found was to just disable eyefinity via profiles when playing a 1920*1080 game.

Op
How are you getting your game to display on just one screen?
If you let me know I can try and help by fiddling with settings my end to try and find a resolve.

The odd game that wouldn't play ball for me drop the resolution (in windows) to 1920x1080, launch said game & configure it (obviously you'll have 3 identical images), exit game & re-enable 5760x1080 & then launch game again & for me the outer 2 monitors shut down leaving the game on the centre display only :)

Hello there.

Sorry for the late reply.

Yeah for some reason, when I play say - Prototype, Mirrors Edge, my monitors just go into standby mode immediately.

I do not have any profiles set up in catalyst. I basically just have any eyefinity group setup for 3 monitors (Landscape).

The thing to note is that when I run Starcraft 2 I have it on 3 monitors. Now my guess is that the only reason it mirrors on the other screens is that I have to force set AA to 16 via the catalyst otherwise the ati 5970 will crash midgame and minerals will dissapear at the start of the game.

So basically, I'd just like it to run in the middle of the screen but I just can't seem to configure any way to do it.

In Summary
- I dont have any profiles set up. I tried setting one up as per one of the suggestions on this thread but it didn't quite work
- Is Ultramon the recommended solution to this?
- If so, is there anyway to still have my wallpaper over 3 screens?

Apologies if my notes are a little noobish

thanks for any help guys

Sam
