So my main PS4 controller has been busted for the passed year or so as the R2 lost sensitivity a long time ago and both rubbers on the joysticks also went as well.

They all seem to be common faults on the PS4 controller so i'm just wondering is there any decent controllers that are non official that anyone can recommend getting?

Some of my friends have had 3-4 controllers already so I really do not want to buy a standard Sony controller as I dont mind paying a bit more to avoid having problems with it some where down the line.

sony have released a brand new version of their controller the V2 with 2 new features. lightbar at front and also works over USB instead of charge over USB.

don't know about build quality but could be worth trying one of them.

CronusMax + Xb1 Elite controller is how I roll, just need to tape couple of buttons on the PS4 to turn it on, then all control over to the XB1 pad. Course not very useful for games that make a lot of use of the touchpad...

I have come across a nice controller called the Hori Pad for PS4. Reasonably priced and hopefully it will last me a while. Going to order it today off a UK website.
