Alternate Vista shells?

Ok straight up - I hate the Vista shell! So cluttered and OTT. XP was bliss! I was holding out for Cairo but it's quickly turning into vapourware

Are there any good alternatives about?!

I probably mean GUI, but Cairo pimps itself as a shell so

I'm not really sure what the technical term is - but I want to make my GUI less cluttered and more efficient...

As of yet there are no FULL GUI replacements for Vista or XP that are any good or full featured. Unlike linux the windows GUI is obviously pretty well hooked, so making a full replacement is a MAJOR task. Best you'll get is little hacks, theme replacements and packs i guess...
