Bought a ATI Radeon X1550 Graphic Card.
I have now spend endless amount of hours trying to get a desent looking picture on my TFT without luck.
I am running the lastest ATI drivers with Vista. The only time the picture look half decent was when windows loaded a generic driver when i first installed XP before i upgraded to Vista, however this was unusable in the long term.
Once the ATI driver is installed the picture becomes pale and dull, i have wacked the brightness and contrast on full but still does not look as crisp as my other computer running and old Nvidia card, which just looks good as soon as it was installed with no manual adjustments.
On some webpages the text is fuzzy and i get a green or red tinge or bleed in the writing, google and the BBC news website are good examples.
Before i snap the No Swearing! in half, can anyone recommend any decent alternative ATI drivers, they would have to run on Vista.
I have also tested it on two TFT screens both with the same results.
Any help would really be appreciated, as this card got some decent reviews and i seem to be the only person who has this issue.
