Alternative build suggestions!

Hi guys,

I'm looking for some help or advice in regards to a build.

I have ordered the
"Titan Bayonet" Intel Core i5 6600K @ 4.4GHz DDR4 Overclocked Skylake Gaming PC"
Samsung 250GB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 PC4-21300C16 2666MHz
Asus Xonar DGX 5.1 PCI-Express Sound Card with built in Headphone Amp
Asus GeForce GTX 980 DirectCU II OC Strix 4096MB GDDR5
Seagate 1TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB
Microsoft Windows 8.1

With the shortage on the skylake CPU's its a bit of a waiting game for this build with no actual date of delivery yet.

I haven't built a pc in over 6 years so that's why i have gone with a pre build.

My intentions are to have it purely as a gaming rig.
Any recommendations for an alternative build to this ( a better build?) for my gaming needs?

This build totals at £1290 so keeping it around this price would be helpful.

That build does look impressive, i forgot to mention the case i had with it was the Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Midi Tower Case with Window.

A case is a case to me so any suggestions on a decent one that doesnt look like a chud.
