Alternative cooling to Hyper 212

I'm wondering if anyone recommends any coolers as an alternative to the CM Hyper 212.

I have this sat on top of an i5-2500K in an Asus P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 motherboard but it covers one of the RAM slots and I'm also just looking to tinker a bit :p

Everything is sat in a CM Storm Trooper case as this was my first build so I went for a larger case with cable management to make it less fiddly.

I've never really thought about liquid cooling but never say never...
 
I have closed loop coolers on all my builds now. H50 and H100 and antec 920. I had a 620 but the pump was noisy. Best so far has been the 920 but I am talking about 2 degrees between that and h100. All pumps have moved on a genertion than mine but they are still good for an overclock.
