Im lookign for an alternative app to the Ipod, or some sort of tips on how to alter my current one via ssh so that it sorts by album, and not artist. I'm sick of havingall these folders, when It should only be one for the one album I placed on my phone. Due to some tracks being for example Gareth Emery, and others being Gareth Emery feat. Lucy Saunders, it dis-plays two different folders.
I've tried selecting all and ticking compilation, also tried adding into to sort artist, album artist and album and none work to my avail. Thiis is due to my ipod app sorting things out by artist first, and so all I get is a lot of folders I dont want or need due to having feat at the end. Now the only alternative is to just delete to feat (insert name here), and just have them all labeled Gareth Emery, that works ok but not when I have an album with say, various artists on, and the option there being to just delete all the artists and just have the track listings.
Why cant it sort by album and album only instead of being stupid. Apple really frustrate me with their petty restrictions on how you cant edit and change anything.
