Alternative to a Macbook Air??

Hey guys,

I want somthing nice a modern looking, which has a good spec and is nice a light. For me the Macbook Air ticks all the boxes but the prices seem crazy. Are there any alternatives out there?? Also want at least a 13inch screen with a good battery life.

cheers bigredshark although none of them are for me. Sony's screen is too small, toshiba I wont touch since having 1 ten years ago and it caused nothing but hassle, IBM looks like somthing from the 60's. Think that dell m1330 is the best substitute so far.
