Hey guys, just sold my NEX 5 and added the cash to the pot and have bag myself a total of ~£350 to grab a new camera body. I have had my heart set on an a6000 but have been struggling to find a used one for what i can offer. There is one for about £320 on the bay but the buyer seems sketchy and I have a feeling its a Chinese warehoused refurbished model which will get stuck at customs even if it is perfectly fine.

I used my old camera mainly for taking PC pictures using my SEL35m35 and attacking friends and pets with my SEL50f18. In the summer i would like to take the DSLR when i go fishing, in the hope i get a lucky snap of some local wildlife or maybe even a fish jumping (if i can get a cam with a quick enough continuous auto-focus). I would probably buy the sel55210 for fishing later in the year.

So what set up can i get for my cash + the lens' (or equivalent liquidized amount)?

Is the a6000 a decent choice for my uses?

but your budget just wont allow it i dont think. if you can wait a few more monthsi reckon it will come down further, especially as a new aps-c camera (top end) is supposed to be coming out.

Bagged one for 320 with 2 years john lewis warranty. i am picking up tomorrow in person, hope its no dud!

Was looking at some of the speedy nikons but i think ill struggle to replace the lenses without adding more cash to the pot.
