Does anyone know if there is an alternative to ATI Tool as it isn't compatible with Vista :(

Just realised that Vista isn't supported:

ATI Tool will only work on Windows 2000/XP/2003 (64 bit versions are supported)

I want to see what the overclocking limits are on my graphics card.

Thanks.

It didn't work as I'm using the 64-bit version of Vista which requires signed drivers.

Anyone know of any alternatives?

side note - I installed my 4870 last night, tried Ati Tool to see the framrates (X800GTO got ~160fps with nothing running.

On Task Manager, Ati Tool doesn't go below 94% Cpu usage, but it does not seem to respond in anyway. The furry cube doesnt move. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling after putting hte new card in, but it is still the same.

Any ideas what might be causing it?

you do realise that was disabled (ie no longer works) many moons ago around about the time of service pack 1.
I know that you are asking reflux that question but I would just like to say that I didn't know that the command doesn't work as I've only been using Vista for a few months.

Also after entering the command, I thought it had worked as I got this on screen:

The operation completed successfully.

ATI Tray Tools does work under Vista so long as you use the latest beta and not the official release.
My card is a Nvidia card - a GTX 9800+ so ATI Tray Tools probably won't work :(

You have to disable digital driver signing.

Google it. It does work. (Working on W7 64 bit here after disabling signing!)

You guys are noobs. ;)
well most of you lol

Copy this into your Vista x64 or Win7 x64 run bar and press enter

bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS

this will let you fully install ati tool or riva or anything basicly lol
