Alternative To daemon tools (SPTD.sys BSOD)

I seem to be having BSOD problems error 124 and recently formatted my drive. When going through my install process after installing daemon tools the problem appeared again.

I have now uninstalled daemon tools and the problem seem to have gone agian. The only problem is I use the program quite often and need some kind of alternative or perhaps fix for this problem.

Try Virtual Clone Drive (Elaborate Bytes). I used it to replace Daemon many moons ago and never looked back.

Thanks for the tip. Will try it now. Hopefully it will solve my problems, strange how it never affected me on my old machine but there you go

Yup

VCD is awesome, Daemon Tools is shocking, they don't even make their own driver (the SPTD.sys), which always causes problems!

Yeah found that out the hard way. Recently like said formatted my OS for pretty much no reason. No have to go through the lovely process of re-installing all my programs
