Alternative to Dreamweaver?

I'm after some web design software basically just for writing ebay ads with images in them so very basic web design software that has a design interface as well as an HTML editor. I would get dreamweaver but it's too expensive and frankly overkill. Needs to be vista/windows7 compatible.

Anyone have some ideas?

I got it from jbloggs' free utils thread in the Windows forum. Very much wanted to say Notepad++ but you were too specific in your post.
