Alternative to EEEPC 701

I've had an eeepc 701 since they came out.
It's a great bit of kit let down by abysmal battery life. If I'm lucky I can get 2 hours from it, but that's a real effort.

I could go down the route of an extended battery, but they really bulk the laptop up and I don't want that.

The king of battery life seems to be the 1000HE, but I don't want to have a netbook that big. The 8.9" form factor is perfect for my needs.

Any suggestions as to something the same size but with better battery life? Brand isn't important.

What about 10"? Samsung N110 apparently has a long battery life.

Too big. I got an eee pc 901 which is giving 7-8 hours with a bigger screen than the 701 but in the same size package.
