Now Google have decided to turn their back on Net Neutrality, its time to find an alternative to their services.

The main issue I have is email. Is there an alternative to Google Apps for email so I can use my own domain? Or is there something like RoundCube I can try and convince my hosting provider to install that has a decent UI?

We've just installed Nutsmail on our servers as it's a really excellent email client (derived from Squirrel mail) and has the look/feel of MobileMe. If your host won't install it, feel free to drop me a line and we could sort out hosting for you :)

I have spoken to our server admin and they have informed me that Push isn't installed as standard but they are installing it on our servers and testing it this week.

I have just been informed we now successfully have PUSH notifications working on our servers. How much storage space would you guys be looking for?

Excellent. At the moment I'm using 121MB of my main Gmail account, so I'd want to port those across if I do move, plus have space for the future as well. So I'm sure 500MB would be more than enough for the time being.

Just need to think of a good email address to use now and hope the domain isn't taken.

Apologies for the delay in updating you guys. We have currently got a bug in the push system on our server. When you delete an email from an iPhone (for example), it doesn't delete the email on the server. I'll update you when this is sorted. Is there anything we can do in the meantime to help?
