Hi

My friend is looking to buy a PC with keyboard/ monitor and has found an Acer deal at the purple shirt place. No competitors please

Surely there must be an OcUK build that is just as good or a self build that can match it? I can't find anything on the shop website - is it because the components will be poor in the Acer machine?

Depends on what they are going to use it for, Same spec as the Acer pc , just need to use windows 10 beta.

If it not for gaming you can cut back, to a I3/4gb ram.

Do you want to build yourself? or are you after a pre-buiilt system?

Thanks all - general use for videos/ internet etc so think i3 would be good. Light gaming - AoE II HD and a bit of Football manager so not too taxing.

Happy to build if it saves money but it looks pretty touch and go?
