Alternative to Ipod nano [sorry if in wrong area]

Looking to get my brother a nano type device. Would like one about that size, not beothered about movie playing as the screen is a tad small for that. 8+ gig would be nice..

Anyone using anything now they would recomend instaed of an IPOD.

Try a company called iRiver. I've had one of their older generation iPod types, and think it is much better

My brother just doesnt like Ipod, thik he bought a laptop from mac and it broke and they tried to get away with it. Think he has never forgiven them and looks at the apple ipod as a mac... if that makes sense, Would get him a creative labs, as he likes them, but no idea on which is good or bad.

Will check out the iriver.

the brand new samsung range is lovely, touch screen and look like itouchs for a fraction of the price, failing that try creative
