Hey guys,

I've been using ATI for some time now, and last time I used Nvidia it was just a typical settings window with tabs. I've just gotten an 8800GTS and am having a hell of a time navigating this newfangled control panel.

I'm just too used to ATI Tray Tools and I miss it terribly, is there anything similar for Nvidia?

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely yours,
Ulfhedjinn.

Rivatuner is my fav. More settings than you could shake a stick at.

What Rivatuner can't do with a graphics card could be written on the back of a stamp with a pneumatic drill.

i think you goto view then select 'use classic control panel'
Looked all over for that option and the closest thing I can find is opening a classic "Windows Explorer" style pane, really doesn't help matters much though because the settings page is still glitchy. :(

I'm using Rivatuner for now, seems to do everything just fine. :)

you have to edit your registry to enable the old style cp

run regedit

goto

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvCplApi\Policies

right click in the right hand pane

new DWORD Value , call it SedonaDisable add the hexadecimal value 2

exit

old cp will now be avail

remember editing registry is dangerous and I wont be responsible :)

new CSAA modes will not be avail in old cp

I.E. enhance application setting and 8x , 8xQ , 16x and 16xQ won't be avail but you can still set that in the new cp.
