Is there anything broadly equivalent to how onedrive functions but with a corporate pricing model based on total required storage (unlimited accounts) as opposed to a per account pricing basis?
Yes, imagine 100 different PCs, each with various 'data' folders on them that need to be uploaded to somewhere in the cloud, mostly for backup purposes. The nice thing about onedrive is that you can specify which folders to sync and these folders are actively monitored for new files or modified files and hence these get synced to cloud. Buying 100 different onedrive accounts for these machines is not great from a cost perspective as some may only have a couple of 1000 txt files or such like so the actual physical amount of storage is not huge. Hence, ideally a solution where we can create unlimited 'accounts' but only get charged for total storage required.,
