alternative to Onedrive

As title says, I need an alternative for Onedrive as it is getting a mess as I have more than one MS account and it keeps getting messed up.

I work from home and a seperate office location in town and need a way to keep files on a single place and access from either-I do have a couple of Synology NAS drives and only really need to have a few folders to be available- files mostly word, excel and pdfs. Storage size will be less than 5GB I would think- all currently held in Paperport 14- admin client files mostly. Obviously free would be better but will pay if suitable like a VPN or summat

Any ideas please kindly folk of Overclockers land

What's happening with OneDrive that's getting messed up? I've been using multiple MS accounts with multiple OneDrives on a single device for years without issue. You basically get two instances of OneDrive that maintain themselves independent of what the other is doing.

If you're looking at doing something yourself, I remember there was a tool called OwnDrive that basically allowed you create your own private cloud version of OneDrive/Dropbox. Not 100% what the state of it is now

I would like to simplify things to stop it happening- I have 2 different MS accounts with their own versions of Office on them and just would like to not use onedrive and something else. I've noticed that my secondry machine has slowed a lot since having to use onedrive.

Current testing ZeeDrive as a replacement - OneDrive was having too many issues, it can't cope over X amount of files and as of late we have seen issues where users OneDrives have simply been closing.

Seems good so far, got it on about 25 machines.

Can't you just share a one drive folder between both logins?

IIRC You can setup remote access to storage on your nas too if you wanted... Can't remember all the options for synology off the top of my head but 99% certain they have a remote sync app. It's likely easier with fixed IP's though but this seems to be the idea
