Alternative to squats

Hey guys,

Started the 5 x 5 strong lifts and loving it. My only problem is I don't hack a rack at my gym to do the squats. Lights weights are fine but lifting heavy weight to my shoulders is basically impossible - I know your supposed to start with an empty bar.

I tried Turkish squats and they are hard but my arms feel the burn before my legs
 
You can't really do SL 5x5 without squats... There are alternative exercises but you'd probably want to do more sets. Try goblet squats, db reverse lunges, bulgarian split squats, etc. but maybe 4x8
