I took my MR2 off the road for Winter with the intention of installing a monster ICE system and various mods. Over the Winter my insurance, MOT and tax has now lapsed (there was no point renewing them as I didn't plan to use the car until around April time). Now that I've pretty much decided to sell the car and buy a VX220 instead I need to somehow get an MOT and insurance for when potential buyers come to look. The MOT won't be a problem as I can just get my girlfriend to drive it to the garage (her insurance on the CTR covers that) but what can I do when it comes to actually taking buyers out on a test drive.
Dayinsure don't cover imports or modified so they're no good but does anyone know of any alternative companies that can do short term insurance. I guess I could just let the buyer do all the driving but I'd prefer to take them out first. I don't want my girlfriend taking out passengers as she can't drive the 2 properly, she'll forget that my rev limit is 1000rpm lower than hers
