Alternatives to Dell XPS M1530

Hi,

I'm currently looking to buy a laptop with a budget of £750 and have the XPS M1530 on top of my list. At the Dell Outlet I can get one with 2.5 GHz T9300, 256 MB 8600M GT, 320 GB HDD and 4 GB RAM.

What other alternatives do you recommend at this price range with similar specs? I've also been looking at the Sony FW11E.

Is Centrino 2 going to be much better?

Not sure tbh mate. I'd simply look for ones around the similar price range. I'm looking for one about the same but might wait on getting an XPS because of the dodgy hardware problems with 8000-series graphics cards.

Might get the Ocuk one which is around ~£600 for pretty decent spec. Also with a 9300 series card so less chance ( i think) of the hardware fault being present.

Oh there's some pretty sweet Asus ones (the M50 series), They seem pretty sweet and definately sweet bang for buck.
