My brother recommended these guys for getting around 300 6x4 prints but on downloading their software it appears that each 6x4 costs £0.61. Just a little too pricey for me.

Any recommendations for best quality at best prices?

Great - will give DSCL a try. I have a load of photos from our official wedding tog and when I upload them without resizing it shows 500dpi approx. Is this an issue or do I really have to crop/resize everything and set dpi to 300?

You can upload them as they are but 300 photos at 500dpi will take a very long time!

Just tried it and estimating 21 hours even with BT Infinity! Is there an easy way to set the DPI for the whole batch?

You can do a batch job with Photoshop, if you have that, and reduce the images to 1800x1200.

Will give that a go. I take it it won't have an adverse affect on the print if I don't bother resizing it and just go with the 500dpi?

I personally think anything over 300dpi is unnecessary. It won't make it worse leaving it, it just mean it take you a long time to upload.

All they will do at the other end is resample to 1800x1200 as well if their kit prints at 300dpi.
