Alternatives to malwarebytes

Been using Malwarebytes since day dot, but is it still the best? or other better free programs that one should use and recommend ?

I would say spybot but not used it in years since going to eset security suite

My protection comes in the form of MS Security Essentials, Spybot, Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyWare.

Mind you, Security Essentials is the only one i actually have running in the background. With the others I just do periodic system scans.

I'm using Kaspersky Internet Security 2014, but there are also free tools like Combofix, for special things like Bitcoin Miner trojans.

Still swear by MWB for day to day spyware removal, that and a run of combofix usually clears most infections straight up.

Malwarebytes and Combofix together will clear up most things.
