altrnative to windows media player

as above can someone suggest to me a different media player other than windows own one. just switched to mozzila as a browser and just wondering what else it out there

i use winamp for audio and media player classic for videos

VLC is probably the best media player around.

could never get used to vlc

always stuck with media player classic and/or zoom player. mostly MPC though

For music Winamp is simply the only one to bother with. I can't believe some people still use WMP for their MP3's.

For video files get BS Player or VLC as others have said.
