Hi guys,

Just got back from my passing out parade and thought id go on me laptop, and its being extremely unresponsive, things are taking ages to load, and web pages are being slow as anything.

I there any sort of cleaning tool i can use? It was fine before i went on it, and now its slow, and no one has used it.

Weird - so would appreciate the help :)

One of my mates is seeing the same problem with his Unibody MacBook.

Try using Firefox instead of Safari to see if the issue lies with Safari rather than your network connections (there was a recent update for both).

Same issues here. I've done re-installs, took it to the Genius Bar for the Apple boys to have a look, nothing. These days I only use my Mac to watch movies and web surfing. The heavy lifting I leave for Windows which haven't dissapointed me so far.

Might be slightly drastic but have you tried reformatting and then reinstalling OS X, Regulus? :) I have to say I've had a macbook for almost a year now and it has never let me down once.

I think there's an issue that's appeared in the last patch that has made Safari unresponsive. At first I thought it was the SSD but I think it's more of a software issue.
