Aluminium Mousemats

I recently purchased a swanky £30+ aluminium mousemat.

All my workmates ribbed me, but it is amazing!!

Only problem is, it has a fast side and a precision side and the other night while hammering some 12 year olds i knocked it off the desk!!

I now do not know which side is which, any ideas??

Take mouse mat, aim at 12 year olds head.

See which side misses and which side hits the kid the fastest.

i use a SteelSeries Experience I-2 which is around the 35 quid mark but use to have all that stuff paid for by sponsors when i use to play cs, i would never give it now that i have to pay
tip: if you are gamer use glides on your mouse feet for a more smoother finish across the sheet.

it sounds like you have the SteelSeries 4D One side for roughness and one side is smooth. Simply turn the mat over for which ever side you require and place on base. You will tell straight away, i can tell in the dark what surface im on depending weapon choice.

I was fortunate enought to beta test the Everglide before it was offically released and i have to say i was very impressed. However it did not perform well with the MS explorer range imho. Neither did it perform well across the board with controlled gun spray in cs but im anal like that sorry

got an icemat II here with my mx1000, when I can be bothered to clean them its so smooth that sinatra would be proud. 35 quid for a mousemat aint to bad, how about £800 on a keyboard to go with it?

A nice sheet of A4 does admirably for me. I only use it as my optical mouse won't work on my glass desk otherwise.
