Aluminium safe in a case?

I'm looking to make a cover for the bottom section of my case to cover up the power supply and the empty space. The side facing outwards will be wrapped in carbon film. I'm not going to wrap the inside because it seems a waste of film as it won't be seen, I was also going to use the remaining metal and film to cover up some other stuff. My question is will the bare metal affect my hardware at all? It'll only be touching the case and no components but I'm just curious.

Bear metal won't have any effect and will not effect your hardware. Aluminium won't rust so no issues there. Go for it

I sincerely hope aluminium is safe in a case, my Lian Li's made almost entirely of it.
