always on?

I'm with Tiscali 8mb broadband right, to connect I'd have to click to connect to Tiscali, now is there anyway to not do that and have always on?

Tell us a bit about your connection hardware, do you use a modem or a router?

If the former, then your problem is easily solved by changing to the latter

I havent used a modem in donkeys years, so not sure on that one.

When i was on Tiscali i just ticked the connect automatically box (or whatever its called i forget), and then when i pressed the My Home key on my Logi Keyboard it came on, so all i was doing was pressing a key.

As above, get a mains powered ethernet router - USB modems are horrid things
