Am after a LapTop for £600

Hi all am after a laptop that can play games ok and has a blu-ray drive and the screen can be no bigger then a 17.
I have about £600 to spend but if i have to pay a bit more will do.

How about the HP DV1010 from a big superstore (****t) for £636 but its a 15inch lappy

for that price range, they are more or less the same spec, i.e 250gb/3gb/dual core and 3450 gfx or equivelent i think so it's just what you prefer the look of i think.

Just my opinion....i personally would avoid the HP DV1010 (even though i work for HP !). I've had 3 of them and all suffered from overheating problems within a short period of time and when they overheated, the quicktouch panel at the top of the laptop developed a mind of it's own. Very very annoying. I'd personally go for the dell studio 15 or an Acer.

I have a Dell Studio 15 and it's great. Well built, quiet and not too loud when on games. I'd recommend the 17 though for the extra graphics punch.

Look at the HP g70-120ea which you can get for around £469 from various stores; and features pretty much what your asking. Comes with blu-ray drive, 17" screen as well as the geforce 9200M.
