Just wondering if anyone else is like me, in the fact that I cant seem to play single player games. The only single player game I've played for more than an hour is fable. All my other games I just jump straight in to the multiplayer mode.

I play cs, but havent ever played half life
I play cod4 but havent played the sp
same with rts like supreme commander, cnc etc.

I have tried, but just seem to get bored really quickly. Anyone else like this?

I'm the same, although CoD4 single player is deffo worth playing and I will probably play the MW2 SP as well.

Playing RTS games single player I've never understood. So boring.

Nope, I'm a social gamer so pretty much only ever play multiplayer, and I play with "IRL" friends more than I do online.

I played starcraft for 4 years and only played one single player level :p

I'm the opposite, only time I play multiplayer is against my friends on a LAN. I got put off by the number of total idiots I played online.

I am more so now than I was few years ago - I would say for me it's a ratio of 70/30 in favour of online gaming.

I will play a single player if I know it's good or I really like the game and get absorbed. (Last single player I played all the way through was Gears of War 2).

Overall though, I do prefer to play online (MMO's/RTS/FPS).

I'm similar, can play the occasional single player game whilst sharing play time with a mate and may occasionally play an hour but soon get bored. Other than that, just multiplayer, mainly sports/fighting and FPS games, PES/Fifa, UFC, Fight Night 4, SF4 for a while and Halo.
Usualy games like Halo with a co-op campaign get annihilated in 1-2 sittings, strangely bought ODST and only seem to play firefight, tried the campaign for an hour but my mate and I just went back to firefight. Tis odd.

I'm a mixture of both. But I enjoy playing SP more than online MP, I appreciate a single player experience more now that there are so many people playing online.

I also enjoy PC gaming online more than console, I've grown to despise the 50% chance (in my experience) of encountering an idiot on LIVE.

This. No-one seems to be bothered about playing the game, they just come on to mess about.

I used to hate playing single player games on the PC, infact I don't even think I owned a single player game on the PC.

However on the Xbox 360 I don't mind as much, I usually do stick to single player games. I'll only buy a game purely for online if I really like it, like COD etc.

I play both. I enjoy SP's like Fallout 3 and RPG's, but also dig MP, COD WAW and COD 4 springing to mind, with a dash of Forza now and then.

Would be good if they could combine the two more, a merger rather then absolute a bit like xbox has time trial scores you can compare even if you dont want to race directly.
I think every game should be connected indirectly, probably adds more realism then AI can do

I was never that impressed with crysis because the multiplayer wasnt that good, singleplayer story can be quite indepth but usually its not as involving.
I played cs far more then hl1 where I got stuck at the cable car part, not sure how far that is?
HL2 I played all the way through singleplayer as the story was really good but mostly I bought it only because of online games. I played singleplayer just once

NFS is good, single player missions but also the city is filled with other people. GTA should be like that instead of separated into two

I used to pretty much only plays multiplayer games like CS, HLDM and eve-online. With Eve I met most of my corp mates so that kinda spurned me to play even more, top bunch of lads! But now I do almost all my gaming on my Ps3 and actually enjoy plenty of singleplayer and mp now.

Way things are going with microsoft, I better get used to sp gaming lol. Really gonna try and get in to fable 2 I think.

A good story based single player game will stop me playing any multi-player until I've finished it.

I'd rather play a reasonable multi-player game than a reasonable single player game though.
