###Not a For-Sale thread!!!###

I'm selling this locally, and asking £500. It's an Acer Nitro 5 - i5 115400H, RTX3050, 32GB DDR4, 512GB M.2, 2TB HDD. Immaculate condition (used with external monitor, mouse and keyboard 99% of its life. No wear on palmrest, keyboard or trackpad), fresh Win 11 install, fully updated. Apart from getting the usual scam messages, and desultory offers, there's not any interest. Am I over-pricing it? I'd try the MM, but I've fallen foul of the post requirements after 22 years here

Have you listed on the MM here? Because you may have more luck. I imagine people buying second hand are comparing your laptop to the lowest priced 3050 laptops and wanting it cheaper. And looking at deals websites, there have been deals for 3050 laptops below £500. Your laptop seems to have more ram, hard disc than those, but does the buyer care? Probably a better CPU, but again I doubt most second hand buyers care.

@reddeathdrinker I would say you are quite a lot overpriced.

As a gaming focused laptop with only an 11th Gen i5 and 3050 the ram and disk capacity is less important than the graphics and cpu.

You can get a 12/13th gen with rtx4050 (notably quicker than 3050) for £600-700 new at the mo. On an Acer Nitro you're prob 50% of comparable rrp new so £350.

Looking on cex which is often an easy sale and not far from achievable privately they would be buying in cash for c£250-£300 sell at £550.
